  • Why does tree work seem so expensive?

    Challenging and hazardous, tree work demands specialized training and expertise to ensure safe pruning and removals. The process of tree pruning and removal is inherently difficult and poses potential dangers. Moreover, the decision to remove a tree is typically based on it being deemed a high risk or presenting a hazard on the site. Tree crews frequently find themselves working on trees with compromised structures resulting from storm damage or years of neglect. Such compromised trees are often deceased, making them particularly perilous. A tree that has been lifeless for an extended period tends to become brittle and inflexible. When attempting to cut it down, controlling the direction of its fall becomes a formidable challenge, often resulting in the tree shattering and throwing broken branches in an uncontrolled manner. Compounding the risk, tree workers often operate in trees containing electrical conductors.
